Closing Statement

In closing we would like to remind you that the opinions expressed here were strictly those of the person who gave them. Take what you like and leave the rest.

Also, anonymity is the spiritual foundation of our program. If we are to recover, we must feel free to say what is in our minds and hearts. Therefore, who you see here, what you hear here, when you leave here, let it stay here.

Group conscience has designated this an open meeting, open to those with a desire to stop living out a pattern of sex and love addiction and anyone wishing to find out more about SLAA. However, because of the sensitive and personal nature of the sharing, we suggest that if someone expresses an interest in attending a meeting for the first time, you share with that person some of your own experience and some of the literature of SLAA. Our purpose in suggesting this is to make the program widely available to others while at the same time protecting the anonymity of its members.

If you didn’t have a chance to share, please feel free to talk with someone after the meeting. Will all who care to, join in the closing.
